Riverside County Seeks Input on Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy

Help Shape Riverside County’s Economic Future - Partner with Us to Reach Every Community!

The County of Riverside is inviting public input on the Draft Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy, part of the Riverside County Economic Development Strategic Plan (EDSP) - a five-year roadmap to support business growth, workforce development, innovation, and community prosperity.

We’re asking for your help to spread the word and encourage participation. As a valued partner, please share this opportunity with your members, networks, and community stakeholders so they can review the plan and provide input during the Public Review Period.

EDC Annual FAM Tour

In just a few days, we will be welcoming site selectors to the region for our 4th annual FAM Tour. Each year, we partner with the cities of Lake Elsinore, Menifee, Temecula, Wildomar, and Riverside County to bring in industry-specific site selectors who work with global companies to highlight what makes Southern California Wine Country a great place to do business.

EDC Hosts International Site Visit

This month, we were proud to welcome an international tech company from Inida to the region. This company is looking to locate its first U.S. location and, after meeting with the EDC at SelectUSA earlier this year, has narrowed its preferred sites down to include Southern California Wine Country.

We'd like to thank our partners at the County of Riverside, UCR, and EDC Past President, Adam Eventov, for helping to show why this is a great place to live and do business.

EDC Attends IAMC Fall Forum

The EDC was pleased to attend the IAMC Fall Forum in Indianapolis, Indiana. IAMC brings together industrial corporate real estate professionals, global companies, and economic development professionals. The EDC continues to bring Southern California Wine Country's message across the country to attract new opportunities for the region.

EDC Board Meetings

Our next board meeting will be on November 6th. We are excited to welcome Jennings Imel as our featured speaker. Jennings is Vice President of the Western Region in the Government Affairs Division at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. The office is responsible for legislative and political grassroots activities in Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, and Utah in support of the Chamber’s national public policy goals.

We will be meeting on the second floor of the TVE2, 43200 Business Park Dr. Temecula, CA.
