EDC in the News August was a big month for the EDC. We shared the news about our new regional brand 'Souther California Wine Country' and about our accreditation from the IEDC.  You can read about both on the Valley News:  Southwestern Riverside County region announces new identity as ‘Southern California Wine Country’   Southern California Wine Country EDC receives accreditation by the IEDC Each of these milestones were years in the making and we were thrilled to share the news with the region.  Haven't seen the new brand roll out yet? Every year, we bring in Site Selectors who work with global companies to find them the best location for their expansion and relocation. We want Southern Calfornia Wine Country to be top of mind for thier next great project.  Sponsors get coveted tickets to attend the tour and an opportunity to meet each of the Site Selectors to learn directly from them what they're looking for and how our region stacks up. A 2025 Murrieta graduate, he is heading to college this Fall. He was a huge help as we revamped the website and our content for the new brand rollout.  Giving young people valuable work experiences close to home is a key foundation in helping them build career skills and know that when they finish their studies that there are great opportunities here when they graduate.
